Maryland Fleet Week and Air Show Baltimore
Fleet Week begins today throughout Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and runs through October 9th. This is a family-friendly event with something for everyone: Fleet, Flight, and Fun.
The event celebrates the history of the Chesapeake Bay and remembers contributions Marylander’s give to help defend our nation. There are also USAF Thunderbirds’ jets among other aircrafts located at the Martin State Airport.
Baltimore Inner Harbor
Ships from U.S., Canada, and Britain are spread out throughout Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Vessels can be boarded by visitors in Fells Point, Locust Point, and the Inner Harbor.
You can also visit historic ships in Baltimore including two U.S. Navy vessels: US Sloop-of-War CONSTELLATION and the US submarine TORSK. There are other vessels permanently on display at the Inner harbor. Follow this link for additional information: Historic Ships
Main Events
Fleet: October 4-8, 2018 1:00-6:00PM
Get up and close by going aboard ships to see them for yourself. Almost a dozen vessels will be open to come aboard and visit.
Flight: October 6-7, 2018 12:00-4:00PM
There are two days to get out and find a spot to watch an airshow. The largest of the air shows will occur in Baltimore.
Fun: October 5-8, 2018 – various times
There will be plenty to do and something for everyone including:
Visit the exhibits and vendors throughout the Inner harbor
Run the Fleet Week 5k
Enjoy food, drink, and live entertainment
Explore Fort McHenry and Martin State Airport
